The Jerusalem Bible, completed in 1966, is very similar to the Revised Standard Version 2nd edition in that it is a modern English language translation. It was produced under the direction of the Dominican scholars at the renowned Ecole Biblique de Jerusalem.
J.R.R. Tolkien translated the Book of Job for the original Jerusalem Bible and was asked to do much larger portions of the work but didn't have the time.
The New Jerusalem Bible is a completely separate translation most often compared with the New American Bible.
